Q: QuestionThis cable specifically says it doesn't convert HDMI to Displayport. Does Insignia make a cable that is Male HDMI to Female displayport? PS, if I had read the box, I wouldn't have burnt out the first one in 5 seconds...

Q: QuestionWould this display a docked Nintendo Switch to a Monitor? (HP monitor)
Asked by Saad.
- A:Answer Hi, this insignia display port to HDMI converter / adapter says pc on the male display port end and has a picture of a monitor on the hdmi /display female end. So it probably is one way couldent tell you . i dont see a display port female out[put on my switch just hdmi. i dont have a display port monitor to try it out. Best Buy does have the insignia conversion cable i also own and it has no direction indicator on the ends. Its about the same price. It might be reverseable chk it out. pretty vague i know but manufacturers usually wont indicate pc / monitor ends unless its a one way device. later, the TwistedMonk

Q: QuestionI have an Acer - Nitro XF243Y 23.8" Full HD Monitor for my Xbox One. I’m using an HDMI, but refresh rate only goes to 60hz I want know if using an adapter to Display Port will allow me to increase the refresh rate. Any recommendations?
Asked by Bill.
- A:Answer hi, i dont know about that but i have a hdmi running at 100hz so if it dosnt go past 60 its one of your components monitor /tv /xbox /cheap hdmi wire /not the "hdmi type" that restricts it. see i got a pc and it misread my cheap monitor as a tv and would not go past hd 1080. it also misread my tv as hd 1080 but it is 4k uhd and another thst was 4k hdr so i had to trick it into providing the right output. (59hz look it up on the web, to long to put in here ) if your monitor / tv is being misread by your computer / xbox it can and will restrict the refresh hz output to the display. usually to, in my case 1080 hd @ 30hz
