QuestionDo you need a voltage converter as well as this charger to safely use it to charge my iPad and iPhone in European countries?

- Answer I used this charger on my iPhone 4 in Spain and plugged my Apple USB cord directly into this USB adapter with no other devices and safely charged my phone on a ten day trip at several different locations. Also charged a portable charger off this device with no problems.

QuestionNorthern EuropeI need to know if this can be used in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany. Also, I did not get a manual. Is there one?

- Answer We just got back from that river cruise. Yes it works in all those countries. You will only need one adapter for the plug they all use the same. I charged two IPhones & Two IPads with it. Works great. Enjoy you trip.

- Answer I don't know which plug the Netherlands uses. As long as you have a cord that plugs into a USB port, it will work with this charger.

- Answer Anything that uses USB can be charged without a converter. I used it on & off ship on a river cruse on the Danube it worked fine on my IPhones & IPads. It should work for you.
