A:AnswerIt should work just fine with a 24 in screen tv on a flat wall. This is the presumed installation condition. Sloped will tilt the screen to the angle of the slope. The tv mounting bracket inserts along the top of the wall bracket this means you have to have a bit of clearance to swing the TV into place. The bottom locking screws will hold the TV in place when it is swung into position and they are tightened. So access to the bottom screws for your screwdriver is also a consideration.
A:AnswerPer the specifications this TV falls within the acceptable parameters. But the manufacturer says "MOST" for a reason. It should work but they do not promise it will work with any specific tv as it is a generic wall mount. It works well with my 22 in Insignia TV.
A:AnswerI assume you have this in a vertical rather than horizontal position given you mention side screws. The long screws secure the the tv mounting part of the bracket and hold the TV in place in the horizontal position (bottom). I would be concerned that in the vertical position the TV could slide off the wall mounting bracket. You would need to put some sort of additional stop in the top now side mounting position to prevent this condition.
A:AnswerREAD THIS ALL THE WAY THROUGH FIRST FOR SAFETY! It is easy. Loosen the bottom mounting screws until the TV mounting bracket clears the wall mounting bracket. The TV swings out far enough for you to put the cables in. DO NOT GO OUT TOO FAR because it is easy to lift the TV off the wall mount entirely in this condition as that was how it was initially installed! Put your cables in and then carefully lower the TV back into place and tighten the screws again. Having a second person to keep an eye on the TV position is a good idea. Otherwise if the clearance is giving you problems, take and lift the TV out of the mounting, install your cables and then put the TV mounting brackets back in the same position as originally installed on the upper track and re-secure the TV by tightening the lower screws as they were initially installed. You may need a level to trim the TV if it is slightly off kilter. ( If it is way off check and make sure the brackets on top are fully lowered onto the top rail and that no cables or cords are behind the TV or getting caught or pinched in the mount. The TV should be designed to allow for the installation of your cables without interference of the wall or mounting bracket.
