- Answer Your dash cam turns on automatically when you turn on your vehicle. This dash cam does not support parking recording mode.

- Answer You can set the time when the recording loop ends. You can select 1 min, 3 mins, or 5 mins. When the MicroSD memory card is full, your dash cam continuously overwrites the oldest footage recorded. To protect a specific video clip against being overwritten, press the (power/set) button. The (emergency recording) icon appears on the screen.

- Answer Likely you did not set it to "Loop Recording" in the settings. Try that. If it doesn't fix it, take it back and buy a Kenwood camera.

- Answer This Dash Cam does not have a feature to put a password on it and you cannot view the live feed from your phone.

Questionpurchased this dash cam about a year ago, had no issues until this year had dreaded heat waves and now wont stay on glass. any hints to keep on? i ve tried cleaning the cup and re-applying and locking. about to use rear mirror glue for last resort

- Answer Someone online suggested using gorilla tape. I've tried that but it's only been a week so I can't say for sure that it'll work. I live in Florida and the heat knocked mine down within a month.

- Answer What is the total recording time? You can set it for 2 Mints, 3 Mints and 5 Mints. Post that, a new file will be created. Does the operator control when recording starts and stops or does the car's engine? If it is connected to the 12V outlet , the recording starts only when the Car is turned on. You need to take it to a professional to connect directly to the always on power supply to have the recording on continuously. Is the recording in segments or continuous? Segmented in 2, 3, 5 mints based on your settings Is there a recording loop? Yes

- Answer Yes you can set the screen to go blank however it will still record Audio and video front and rear. It will come on when you switch on your car

- Answer Can you even buy one???? This camera was not too expensive. Even Dollar stores sell cheap ones. Just buy a second camera, that is what I did

- Answer Because this unit shuts itself off when you turn off your vehicle. My answer is No. Some units will turn on when they sense motion or impact. I would recommend a different model for that reason. This unit covers your basic driving needs. One that senses motion would be ideal and then uploads to a wi-fi connection which you will need to make it work. Good luck. I would also set up exterior surveillance cameras to catch whoever is slicing your tires.

- Answer Amazon. You can’t get the exact one, but you can find one with different attachments. Measure the rectangular part of your bracket that actually holds the camera, then look for the right bracket on amazon that comes with an attachment of the same size. Hope this helps.

- Answer You can remove the camera from the mount and unplug the power cord. The mount itself will leave a gooey material on the glass when removed, so I suggest leaving the mount on the windshield.

- Answer It's not supposed to because it uses a heat resistant capacitor for that specific reason. However, I do not recommend you leave anything out in the open because it will tempt even the cheapest of thieves break in and take it. You know thieves will steal virtually anything nowadays. It is easy to snap on and snap off and take it with you. And you can do that in a heartbeat with this unit.
