- Answer usually that is done thru settings on one's tv set. scroll thru the setting and you should come upon one's choice of how to do that. It will ask if one wants to use their antenna or another choices depending on things like Wi Fi or other. If one chooses the incorrect setting, just go back and change the one needed to get your choice of channels. Methods change with models of tv sets.

- Answer I recently bought this not too long ago (Sep 2023), and I didn't even need too enter codes. I just followed the instruction on pressing TV and power and automatically worked for my Samsung TV. For the Closed Captioning, go to Settings and it should be under Sound Settings.
