Yes. Since it's hardwired to the same screw terminals as the buttons on the wall of your garage door, it acts the same way.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes exactly. I too had chamberlain with its smart signal integration which was also flaky for me. This also means you can wire a pair from the opener or even tap into an existing button that also just closes the circuit
