QuestionHow long should a charge last on the battery? We have a 54x26 house, it will have to recharge its-self twice before completing the job. The book says the battery should be replaced every 8 to 10 months, but does not show where the battery is located?

- Answer Mine lasts about an hour of vacuuming before it returns to recharge. So it really depends on how many rooms, what it needs to work around and things like that will determine how long it takes.

QuestionDoes roomba I3 has auto charging/docking capability?

- Answer Yes, it will complete its route through your home, then dock itself for charging/dirt bin disposal. Be sure you are selecting the correct bundle, however. The Roomba i3 model can come as a stand-alone item (just vacuum robot), the i3 vacuum with charger dock, OR the i3 vacuum with charger dock which also is an auto-emptying dirt bin. You can also upgrade later to the auto-emptying charger dock.

- Answer The filter itself can not be washed, you have have to clean it dry. But the debris bin can be cleaned with water. The room a also comes with a extra filter.

- Answer Hello Peanutt, The i3 EVO comes with a spinning side brush on the side of the robot and 2 main Dual Multi-surface rubber brushes, which are the main brushes responsible for cleaning, attached to the Cleaning Head Module in the middle of the robot.

QuestionI just purchased the Roomba I three. I was wondering how long and how many times you have to send it out to map out a 1400 square-foot apartment. It did part of my apartment the bin is full and it went back to its station to recharge a battery.

- Answer Hello, You will most likely need a couple of mapping runs in order for the robot to map the whole space.
