• A:Answer Hello Charlie, In order to use the full range of features of the robot, the iRobot Home app is required. The robot can still be operated from the Clean button for cleaning missions, but you would be missing on a lot of features offered from the app. The iRobot® HOME App is designed for use on iOS devices running OS 15 or higher and Android devices running OS 9.0 or higher. It is not compatible with desktop operating systems, Windows Mobile OS or Kindle tablets/Fire OS.

Q: QuestionWith this unit can you switch the vacuum bin out of. Irobot to the mopping bin to get it to mop?

Q: QuestionWe have a multi colored carpet with 4 colors, the other vacs we have had will stop at the dark stripes, thinking it's a drop, will this work correctly?

• A:Answer Hello, Roomba® i Series, j series and s Series Robot Vacuums have improved performance on dark flooring, as compared to our earlier series robot vacuums. Note: Although the i, j and s Series robots can navigate on dark surfaces, there is still a chance the cliff sensor may be triggered.

• A:Answer Hello, The Roomba J7+ only detects solid pet waste and if cat vomit gets in your robot while it is cleaning it will most likely cause technical issues.

• A:Answer Depends on the texture or litter and how much. I use world's best clumping corn litter and my Roomba will pick it up although the front edge cleaning brush can fling it under my Furniture but more than not will definitely clean up most of it
