• A:Answer Thanks for your inquiry and your interest in our product. The SB400 does have a 3.5mm port located at the back, above the optical-in port that is used to connect those TVs that does not have digital outputs (optical, HDMI). In the box includes an RCA to 3.5mm cable that you can use in such set-up.

• A:Answer its a standard 120v wall plug. technically 230 volts would be running 2 hot wire to it like a dryer would use. don't do that.

• A:Answer JBL 400. Yes, I have connected my Alexa via bluetooth and it worked fine for voice and music. Connecting took about 30 seconds, just press the Bluetooth button on jbl, then start bluetooth and locate "JBL 400" on your device, and accept. Note that the JBL remote does not have a Bluetooth button. If you are using cable tv on HDMI1 and then want to input bluetooth, you will have to walk over to the JBL and push the bluetooth button. JBL sound is very good for a sound bar. Bass for Smooth Jazz is excellent. 3 HDMI inputs is high-end.

• A:Answer Sorry to hear of this problem you are having. Please try resetting the SB400 and the try pairing up the SB and sub again. This should fix the problem for you. In standby mode - Press "Volume-" (minus) button and "Surround mode" button simultaneously for approx 3 seconds - soundbar turns on - soundbar is reset. It is important not to press too hard on the Volume- button, because that will also press down the Volume+ end of the button, and the reset will not work then. If you press too hard, two clicks should be felt or heard, indicating that this is wrong.

Q: QuestionSound decided to disappear. Worked for 9 months then just stopped. It lights up that its on but doesn't play sound. Its not a connection prob since it connects to bluetooth from my phone to play music but still nothing from soundbar. What is wrong??

• A:Answer Pressing both of the soundbar’s Volume buttons at the same time while the system is on will mute the system. Please press either Volume button and it will restore the sound. If this doesn't help, perform a reset. This will reset it to the way it was when it came out of the box, and will hopefully fix the problem you are having. 1. Switch the SB400 ON. 2. Press and hold the Surround and Volume (–) buttons simultaneously for about 3-4 seconds, then let go. The Source selection Button flashes amber, followed by the power button and source buttons flashing several times. 3. The soundbar is now reset. It is important not to press too hard on the Volume- button, because that will also press down the Volume+ end of the button, and the reset will not work then. If you press too hard, two clicks should be felt or heard, indicating that this is wrong.

Q: QuestionOur SB400 stopped working completely won't even turn on after a power failure at our house even though it was plugged into power strip. The subwooofer still works but not the sound bar.

• A:Answer try shutting everything down, wait a few minutes then fire back up. It may require re-programming, and I would also recommend buying a GOOD 6-way with the proper circuit breaker and surge protection.
