• A:Answer This is a gas cooktop. No indicator lights like in some induction smooth cooktops. This is also not like the original Jenn-Air modular setup. I have a griddle and use it often but place it on top of the rack over two burners and works perfectly. This is probably my favorite down draft cooktop and I have had 3 different models and manufacturers in the past. If you like cooking with gas and easy to clean... this would be a great choice

• A:Answer Hi Nicky: Not sure if Best Buy has someone to remove and install the new unit, you should ask. We hired a person using Thumb tack, he did a great job, cost was $340. BTW I tried to give the old one away on Nextdoor with no luck, garbage service hauled it away at no cost.
