Q: QuestionDoes it need an internet connection to work? If it does is my phone hotspot good enough for the few times I need it?
Asked by Wifi.
- A:Answer It does not need the internet to charge the car, however, you will not be able to use any smart features (scheduling, power limit, etc.). There is a workaround for scheduling using the car app. Last, but not least, you will not be able to take advantage of utility company off-peak charging perks as they need data. I am not sure if connecting to a hotspot on a regular basis will work. Good Luck.

Q: QuestionDoes it fast charge my Pacifica Chrysler hybrid ev?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It charges any vehical at a maximum of 11kwh thats very good compared to other chargers that do a max of 5-8kwh. If your battery size is 30kw then it should take about 2.5-3 hours to charge (could be less). My Niro EV is 78k and takes about 6-8 hours to fully charge using this very charger.

Q: Questionlooking at difference between juicebox and charge point home chargers. Can you use one wall station for multiple vehicles to charge at different times or do you need a dedicated wall station for each vehicle
Asked by Eric.
- A:Answer You can use the same wall station for multiple vehicles (obviously one at a time). I went with Juicebox as it was covered by my utility provider for a rebate and Chargpoint does not have 48 amp. I did not need it now as I have a plugin hybrid but wanted to be future-proof when I need to charge an EV car, it will provide faster charging (more miles per hour).

Q: QuestionMy unit was installed hardwired by professional today The app indicates maximum is 40 amp vs 48 ?
Asked by Bill.
- A:Answer You can increase the amp on the amp to the maximum of 48 (mine was set to 32amp). Make sure the break installed can withstand the 48amp. If your electrician installed a 60amp breaker you should be fine.
