A:AnswerI personally do not have one of those phones but I would not be surprised if it could be used with one. I would just simply look at the features it shows on the box or it should say so in the manual or booklet it has in the box indication all the features it has, lastly just ask the car stereo place that is going to install it & they would likely know.
A:AnswerNo. I have a Toyota, and the steering wheel buttons (and in-dash aux inport port*) are all dead now.
The installation tech warned me about this up front about this draw-back.
* this receiver has its own 2.5mm AUX input port.
A:AnswerYes you have to buy a install kit for figment to your vehicle also a antenna extension as well as a wire harness. With the radio and extras it was $250 out the door installed.
A:AnswerHonestly, I really do not know because since Ford,Chevy & Dodge Trucks are all different when it’s comes to their entertainment systems & overall interior design, however if click on this radio like I did on the BestBuy.com, I seem to remember that it had a questionnaire asking what year your vehicle was & make & then it would let you know whether that unit would fit your vehicle or not. Lastly these Double Din Audio CD players are made to fit that space where a factory radio once was because after having mine installed. You would think it had been in there with The way it looks & fits & overall blends in with everything.
A:AnswerThe stereo is fantastic with loads of features, installation shouldn’t affect anything else on your vehicle, you can always call the geek squad installer for any questions or concerns you might have on the installation, they did a fantastic job on mine
A:AnswerThis seems to be perhaps the most infernal iPhone feature ever conceived. Are you ready for this shaggy dog answer?
osxdaily has an article titled "How to Stop Auto-Playing Music In Car Bluetooth From iPhone."
This article only demonstrates how lame this feature is. It gives 8 lame suggestions and no good answer.
Among the reader comments to the article is one by "Adam" dated 10/12/19. Adam tells us how we can use the "shortcuts" feature (new in iOS 13) to create an automated action that pauses the music play when your iphone connects to your specific car stereo via BT. 2 of 3 responses say this works. The 3rd comment says this shortcut just gives you a prompt to actually run it. Coincidentally, I just happened to find it tonight.
It took me about 20 minutes to figure out the shortcut, but I haven't taken it to the car to try it yet.
Good luck to us!
