Questionwhen trying to connect the dash CAM to android phone the instruction "make sure the dash cam is not recording". how to stop recording? my experience is that once power on it starts to record.

- Answer you click/tap the ok/power button and you will see it stopped recording, then follow the wifi instructions.

QuestionAlong with it being a dashcam would I be able to look at anytime to see the gps location of the semi tractor and where it has been?

- Answer You can see the immediate GPS position. Regarding looking at the history, you can upload (pairing) the dashcam to a Kenwood app and review video and other position data. I use a 256gb Sandisk Micro SDXC card and USB combo. It makes easy transferring the card data to Kenwood software on a PC. Playing data on a PC is an enhanced view of your camera, speed, gps, forces applied, your position on map, audio (on or off). I am very happy with the playback quality.

- Answer No. If the app is important to you buy something else. The app worked one time when i was setting up. Since then the camera will not connect to the app. Most reviews will tell you the app is useless

Questionwhat is the maximum recording time length? It appears to be only 5 minutes. So an hour commute is twelve 5-min videos?

- Answer Yes, the max length for videos are 1, 3, 5 minutes, some will go up to 10 and 15 minutes lengths, this kenwood model only goes up to a length of 5 minutes maximum.

- Answer Yes it works great at night time. You would be able to edit video and download it to Veiw tag if needed. It does not bounce around very good steady picture or video . They do have support I have not had to use it yet so I do not know if it’s 24/7 or not.

- Answer I'm in Texas and we're on week 2 of 102-107 temps. So far no problems. I do take it off the windshield when parked though - I figure this might help preserve its life! I drive home into the sun every day though and it records like a champ. No video problems. Hope that somewhat helps.

- Answer It will if you buy the kit to hook to battery. If your cigarette lighter stays on when key is off it should also. . I have mine turn off with key and comes on and starts recording then.

QuestionWhy does it continuously beep when the SD card is full? Why can’t it just overwrite the older files like every other dash cam on the planet instead of forcing me to reformat? Very dangerous imo
