I have heard the same thing. I have found that many other brands have the Keurig stamp on them and they can be easily used. The other brands being Pete's, Paul Newman, Doughnut Shop, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Would not let me use "k cup" brands from Target store brand. I have owned multiple Keurig coffee makers and this is the first one that would not let me use a store brand K cup
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not true. You can use any K cup. They are universal. Also this model you can use a reusable filter and your own coffee. Heck of a lot cheaper
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can only use K Cups that say "Keurig" on them, it stinks.. but i think most of the newer Keurigs are that way now. I used to buy K Cups from Trader Joe's that we way cheaper and they will not work in this Keurig.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use any k cup pod with any keurig machine. The person who wrote the review must have meant the same thing but worded it wrong. I buy Starbucks brand k cups and Folgers kcups and they work perfect!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Me! In order for Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology to deliver the perfect cup or carafe every time, it must read the lid and recognize the type of Keurig pack that has been inserted. Because of this, we cannot guarantee packs without the Keurig Brewed logo will work in the Keurig 2.0 brewer. We hope this answers your question and we thank you for reaching out to us!
