A:Answer This is the setup I went with, with the exception of I chose the Metra ported box per the recommendation of the installer, when I had my stereo installed at Best Buy. The Kicker sub in that box with the mono amp sounded incredible. People could not believe all that bass was coming from that single enclosure. I have since upgraded the ported box to a different enclosure, but that was only because I drive a Jeep and found a sub enclosure that mounts to the floor so it would be much harder to steal when the doors are off. I actually lost some of my bass by replacing the ported box with my new one, but the security is more important to me and I still have plenty of low-end sound.
