A:Answer We purchased this microwave more than a year ago and it is doing the exact same problem you are experiencing. Tried everything except, unplugging the power source, maybe it will reboot when I plug it back in...Unfortunately, we remodeled cabinets and accessing the power chord is easier said than done!. I also agree, it really bothers us we are having this problem with a "Kitchenaid ' product!. We spent more on the brand name to avoid problems so soon and just like this!! Obviously it is a manufacturer defect and should be resolved with a new free exchange with a better product. If 'Kitchenaid' does not resolve this issue effectively, timely and to our satisfaction, I will never purchase a product of theirs ever again!! Bold statement considering all of our major appliances and all accessories are Kitchenaid brand....
