- Answer Hello Kari, that panel on the front of the Dishwasher does not have an display. All the Display and buttons will be on the top of the door. We hope this helps.

QuestionHow does the ProDry work? Where is the air intake located? And where is it vented out?

- Answer Hi Ronnie, the ProDry System combines a heating element and fan for optimal drying performance. It circulates hot air around dishes after the wash cycle to give them a thorough dry. To activate, select the ProDry™ Option or Extended ProDry™ Option. There is a small vent on the front of the unit.

QuestionWhat is the minimum time on the shortest washing cycle (Express) and is that adjustable?

- Answer Hello, The Express cycle can take anywhere from 55 minutes to 1 hour and 10 minutes. With no other dryer features being added. We hope this helps

QuestionI read the reviews about being so quiet you can tell it’s running. Mine appears to be a bit loud. I could hear it running a room away. What could cause this? I’ve had it for 2 1/2 weeks now and have done about 10 loads.

- Answer I find it is louder too. I think the DB rating is when it is at its quietest which is when it first starts and drying. It is more like 50 - 60 dbs in the wash cycle.

QuestionCan the bottom rack silverware holder be opened at the top and left open during the cleaning cycle? Specifically I'd like to know if it can be uncovered to hold wider items during the wash cycle without using the spacer.

- Answer Yes. And sometimes other things don't get completely clean, too. Getting the dirtier plates, bowls, casserole dishes totally clean does not seem to be this unit's stength.

QuestionWhere can I find the operations manual for this model? I have the owner's manual which only contains installation instructions.

- Answer The instructions talk about a "Quick Start Guide" but nothing has that name. The manual, though, seems to be the single sheet of long paper that is printed front and back. The back left side case a code: W11373417A. From our internet searches, this seems to be the actual Quick Start Guide for this model. We agree that KitchenAid let us down with documentation, even online.

QuestionHow is the dB rating determined? We like this machine but the 44 rating is only in its quietest cycle. When water is cycling through it is much louder. It really isn't that quiet overall.
