Q: QuestionWhat is the depth of this range without the handles? This website says 26 3/8 inches, but the dimension guide from the kitchenaid website says 28 5/16 without the handles under Letter E. Does anyone know which is accurate?

• A:Answer Hi SAM, unfortunately, this KitchenAid - 6.4 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Electric Convection Range only has the AquaLift® Self Clean Cycle. In order to use the AquaLift Cycle, we would recommend removing all racks and accessories from the oven cavity and wipe any excess soil. We would then recommend using 2 cups of distilled or filtered water onto the bottom of the empty oven and close the oven door. Then Press CLEAN or AQUALIFT SELF CLEAN and then START on the oven control panel. Allow 40 minutes for cleaning and cool down. A beep will sound when the Clean cycle is complete. Press CANCEL, CANCEL UPPER or OFF at the end of the cycle. Cancel, Cancel Upper or Off may be pressed at any time to stop the Clean cycle.

Q: QuestionDoes the frame of this electric oven get so hot you cannot touch the top of range. And is this normal?

• A:Answer Hello Grace! It is normal for wall ovens and ranges to get hot on the outside. Depending on where the vent is will determine which areas get hotter. Q: QuestionCan us use a mixture of Dawn and water to clean the exterior of the range? What about the cooktop? If a special brand, afresh, I believe is recommended, do you use that in the exterior but not the burner area?
