Q: QuestionAre the klipsch RP 600M bookshelf speakers long enough to sit the klipsch RP 500SA dolby atmos speakers on top them?

• A:Answer The depth of the RP-600M is 11.85”. The RP-500SA has an 11.16” depth, so it should fit nicely on top of the RP-600M.

Q: QuestionI have Klipsch Synergy F-20 floorstanding speakers for my fronts. Due to a new built in cabinet, I need to move to bookshelf speakers. I'm afraid of the loss in sound. The store recommended these. No store has demo speakers. Any thoughts on this, thanks

• A:Answer These speakers sound very good. If they are properly paired with a subwoofer they will provide excellent sound. I used them as fronts for years and recently moved them to the rear a d replaced them with Klipsch R-820f towers. You will lose a little punch.... Maybe it depends on your receiver or amp. I was originally disappointed with my towers until I got a new Marantz amp. So they will sound the same if you are using a smaller amp. If you are running a system with at least 130watts per channel you will lose a little punch at the mids and upper ranges of bass. If your running a typical 69watt per channel mid range receiver you may actually gain a little clarity. That was my experience anyway

• A:Answer I have 6 of my 8 laying down sideways close to the ceiling and on slanded panels point downward about 15 degrees. My towers and my bookshelves. Saved space and allowed me increase my distance between speakers.

Q: QuestionCan these be set up as purely stereo speakers? What is by-amp? Do I need two amps or can I just use the 100 amp receiver that I have?

• A:Answer The RP-600M can absolutely be used in a stereo (2-channel) speaker configuration. You only need one amplifier to power and send signal to the RP-600M speakers. Your 100W amplifier should be a great match. Bi-amping is an alternative way to use the speakers, but is not the recommended way to connect them. We recommend a standard (single amp) connection. • A:Answer I am no expert. However the speaker can at handle 600 watts from your amp. and I would assume that is Peak power. A speaker is individual power consumer.
