QuestionThe BB stores have a Yoga 910 model for $1649.99 called a "special edition." What is the difference between that model and this one?

- Answer I had the exact same question and ended up getting the special edition. The only difference between the two was the lid and the fact that the special edition was numbered. The lid is the main reason that I purchased the special edition. The lid on the special edition has a glossy glass look where the normal 910 had a flat (as opposed to gloss) finish and looked like it would show fingerprints and grease more. Hope that helps

QuestionI want to buy an 8gb RAM, 256gb PCIe SSD version. Can I buy additional RAM myself as well as another 256gb PCIe SSD (ie. Samsung 950 model) to upgrade this unit to 16gb/512gb?

- Answer You can't buy additional ram. You can REPLACE the RAM. The slots are filed so you need to replace, not add ram.

QuestionWhy is the camera at the very bottom of the screen? I would be using laptop while being proctored virtually so turning 2 in 1 in tent mode would prohibit me to type while proctor is viewing.

- Answer Not sure of the exact reasoning behind the camera placement, but having the camera at the bottom of the screen does not limit your ability to take your exam while being proctored online. If you absolutely desire to have the laptop in tent mode, you have the option of connecting an external keyboard.

QuestionI see a lot of comments on fan noise and Lenovo has posted a BIOS update to fix. Has anyone tried this fix and does it work?

- Answer I was able to fix my fan noise by doing what it said on this site. In that link towards the top click on "Solved! see the solution" and it will take you to the main comment. Basically update BIOS, go into BIOS and choose "Quiet Mode" (this don't effect processing speeds), AND update WLAN driver. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/Yoga-910-crazy-loud-fan-even-when-CPU-at-lt-35/m-p/3552229#M47982 BIOS v.35 can be downloaded here: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/DS119202 latest WLAN driver, v. 12.0.0.278. QuestionHow does the top end model of this laptop (i7 7500U) perform when running photoshop/illustrator/video editing?

- Answer I use this when traveling and around home, the screen is too small to do serious editing, BUT the processor is quite good for PS work. I use 2 - 34" monitors with my desktop for most PS editing. Love this laptop, except gray is so boring and added a colorful skin to make up for it and make it unique.

- Answer Not a traditional docking station you set the laptop on.
