QuestionOther people keep pairing their devices to my sound bar nd taking control of it. They always blast rap music over my speakers at all hours of the night nd day overriding my turning it off or even when I'm using it to watch movies. This is so annoying!

- Answer The LG - 2.1-Channel Hi-Res Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier - Black, Model # SJ4Y-S does not support multi-pairing so once it is paired to the device you're streaming from, other devices should not be able to pair with it. You can also use the Bluetooth Connection lock (BT lock) to limit connections to only BT (Bluetooth) and LG TV function to prevent intended or unintended Bluetooth connections by pressing a nd holding Auto Power ON on the remote control for about 2 seconds to turn this function on in BT (Bluetooth). YOu will find explicit instructions for this and further details on page 30 of your owner's manual...^IFV

QuestionIs this blu tooth enabled (particularly the sub woofer)?

- Answer Yes, you can connect to this via Bluetooth. The subwoofer automatically pairs with the sound bar so you have sound coming from both, and you can adjust the sound independently between them (turn up/down the main volume and turn up/down the subwoofer)

QuestionI have this sound bar and an LG 55" TV. They are connected using HDMI ARC. For some reason the sound bar keeps coming disconnected from the TV and I don't know why. I can't get it to reconnect now either like I used to be able to. Any help?

QuestionI bought the sound bar and rear speakers. All the rear speakers do is mirror what the sound bar is playing. They don't act as rear left and right speakers. It's not like my old Visio 5.1 sound bar system. Using toslink cable

- Answer Sounds like it's because the 2.1 is only set up for Left/Right stereo channels. You must have a 5.1 in order for rear speakers to work.

QuestionI was reading up on the new Roku Ultra and it sounds like it should be able to control sound bar volume (sometimes at least) when connected through HDMI . Has anyone tested this out? I have an LG TV as well so I am hoping everything will work together...

- Answer "Simplink" is LG's name for HDMI CEC (HDMI Consumer Electronics Control) which is a control function that lets one A/V component control another if they are connected via HDMI cables that was defined in HDMI Specification 1.0 and updated in HDMI 1.2, HDMI 1.2a and HDMI 1.3a and is supported in the HDMI 1.4 ports on the LG 2.1 ch High Resolution Audio Sound Bar, Model # SJ4Y-S. ^CP

QuestionJust bought an LG 4k ultra HD smart TV 60" and having trouble syncing audio with Vizio 5.1 soundbar bought less than six months ago for about same price. Will matching this to same brand of TV cure that issue? Audio sync using TV speakers only is fine.

- Answer I had the same problem, though it wasn't the fault of the remote. Having no experience hooking up a soundbar myself, I first placed it speakers down, which will keep the remote signal from reaching the "eye". After looking at the picture on the box, I put the speakers facing the front! Problem solved! It's hard to see the speakers under certain lighting conditions. Try it.

QuestionDoes anyone know what TV mount/bracket works with this soundbar to attach the soundbar to the TV? Normally soundbars have the screw holes on the back of the unit but this model has it on the bottom. I cant seem to find a mount/bracket that works.

- Answer I sat mine on the cabinet below our wall mounted tv. I did not want it mounted below on the wall. This way the tv image literally looks like it coming out of the wall. It is streamline and looks great there.

- Answer I purchased the sj5y thinking it would be even better because of additional speakers and sent it back. The sj4 model with Just sound bar & subwoofer Sound sooo much better even though they were less.
