QuestionDoes this model washer need / have / or come with a liquid detergent cup / insert? Where is the max fill line for liquid detergent? It seems to just "flow" right out of the main wash detergent compartment the minute you dump it in.

- Answer The washer has a tray with three sections, Main Wash, pre-wash, and softener. Per the manual, liquid detergent or pods (pods really add to much detergent in my opinion) should be added to the drum before adding the clothes. If using pre-wash, then pre-wash and main wash would need to use powder detergent. If using liquid bleach would need to added to drum as well. For bleach when using tray, add OXI to main wash or pre-wash or both areas. It is suggested you use OXI for sanitary wash cycle. I am old fashion so I still use liquid bleach on dishtowels and white socks and white undershirts and I add to drum before adding clothes. I make my own powder detergent to save money.

QuestionWhen stacked and installed in a closet, can these units be pushed to the very back of the closet or do I need to factor any space between the back of the units and the back wall of the closet? What's the depth it will come out from wall?

When stacking these units in a closet, it’s essential to leave some space between the back of the units and the back wall of the closet for proper ventilation and to prevent overheating. We recommend leaving at least 1 inch of space for airflow. The depth of the units, when installed, will typically extend about 30 inches from the wall, including the necessary clearance. Questioni just ordered the WM1455HWA washer. i found out that in our condo, the power outlet is for the dryer only. we do have a power 0utlet 5 feet away. is the power cord long enough to reach it? What side in the rear is the cord located?

High- Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer with Steam and Built-In Intelligence model #WM1455HWA will not stack with different brand dryer. Appliance manufactures design their laundry machines to be compatible with each other, and this compatibility extends to stacking possibilities. While there will be some interchangeability in washer and dryer models across the same brand, you will not be able to stack laundry units from two different brands. `Jai.

QuestionI purchased the 24" LG stackable washer and dryer (Stacking Kit included). When installed the dryer sits a 1-2 inches in front of the washer (bottom). This can't be right. Did i get the wrong stacking kit?

QuestionWhat's the average time does it take for the dryer to dry full load of clothes? Asking because I learned that ventless dryers significant amount of time when compared to vent dryers.

- Answer An average time for drying a load is not offered in the owner's manual. When a drying cycle is selected, the estimated drying time for the selected cycle is displayed. This time will change if you select extra options for the cycle. The cycle time on Sensor Dry cycles may fluctuate as the appliance recalculates drying time for optimal results.
