The Thunderbolt 4 certification requires that at least one port on any device supporting Thunderbolt should be able to charge the device and output to a display simultaneously. Questionwhen this monitor is split into 3 screens is it able to allow windows to identify 3 different monitors. That's the only way screen sharing will work correctly.else when you try to screen share, no matter how you have the monitor divided it shares whole.

When you download and install LG's On-Screen Control (OSC) software from the support page for the LG 38WN95C-W 38 Inch UltraWide QHD+ IPS Curved Monitor with Thunderbolt™ 3 Connectivity, Model # 38WN95C-W, ([Windows] OnScreen Control - version 7.95 or [Mac OS] OnScreen Control - version 5.98) when you select the 3-Split Screen option, so you can view three different windows at the same time from one PC/laptop. It does not allow Windows to identify three different monitors...^Ivan

- Answer The dual controller does not support using one set of devices for two simultaneous computers displayed PBP on this monitor. Despite the LG answer here. so PBP is effectively useless unless you dont mind using two keyboards and 2 mouses

QuestionIf you have a PC and a laptop connected to this monitor how do USB inputs work? For instance if I have a keyboard and mouse plugged into the USB ports will they automatically switch to whatever device is currently active?

- Answer Only the laptop/PC connected to Thunderbot 3 port recognize the USB inputs. The HDMI and DP port don't see the usb port connections (overall they are just for display and sound connection). In fact, when I don't have thing connect to thunderbot 3, I believe the usb ports are power down, so you can't even use them for charging.

- Answer Yes! You can set this monitor up and set it up to "extend desktop". I have mine set up this way and it is connected to my MacBook Pro. It's an awesome set up & I highly recommend it! The monitor comes with the cables needed to be set up within minutes.
