I experienced this twice already. It happened when the load is full and has beddings and comforter. It doesn't end the spin cycle. It keeps on collecting water and reset the time again. My wash cycle lasted for 3 hours and if I didn't remove the clothes it wouldn't finish. I divided it into 2 loads and run the spin cycle only.
