    • Answer I’m using this soundbar with the TCL 65” Roku TV and with an HDMI cable in the ARC position. With this configuration I can adjust the volume using my Roku remote -or- the supplied LG remote.

  • QuestionHow can I use my Firestick remote to control my LG-5.1 Channel S60TR soundbar and my Samsung 77" Class OLED S90D series TV? The Firestick is connected to HDMI2, the soundbar is connected to the HDMI/ARC. I can't find the IR Profile number.

    • Answer If your Firestick remote does not have an IR Profile number listed for the LG 5.1-Channel S60TR Home Theater Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Rear Speakers, Dolby Audio, WOW Orchestra - Black, Model # S60TR, or for LG Soundbars, then it cannot be programmed to control the soundbar with the IR Profile, but the Soundbar does support HDMI™-CEC (aka SIMPLINK™ on LG soundbars) so you will be able to control the soundbar's volume, mute, and power when you enable HDMI™ CEC on the soundbar...^Ivan.

  • QuestionThe LG soundbar app say that it will no long support the soundbar. Then it says that the LG ThinQ app will. Why cant the LG ThinQ app find my soundbar? I was able to find it on my phone with the LG soundbar app, but nothing can be controlled on that.
