QuestionThe glass on the door gets extremely hot when we have the oven on. We have little kids and it is hot enough that it worries us. We have exchanged one range thinking it was a defect but second has same issue. Is this normal? should we get a another model?

- Answer All Stoves Glass Gets Hot Even the old Ones. when i was young i was not allowed in the Kitchen while mom was Cooking. as the Kitchen is not a Place for Children even supervised. yes its Fun too teach young children to cook. But there should always be an Aire if caution to Allowing children around any Appliance that gets Hot. Im not bashing you or trying to be mean in any way. Yes the Glass on ours gets warm but i dont think it would burn anyone. its just hot enough to let the person know that while say cooking a whole chicken or Turkey that its going to be hot.

QuestionI bought this range last year. My only problem is it will not make pizza crust crisp. Have tried many different things but still have only partially cooked crust on the bottom of both homemade and frozen pizza. Any ideas would be helpful.

- Answer We have the same problem. The bottom of the pizza doesn’t get done without overlooking the top and sides also cook unevenly where the back is almost burnt and the part by the door isn’t done.

QuestionIs it normal that the range top gets way too hot to the touch when oven is in use? Also when baking it seems that the edges cook rather quickly but the inside of the cake doesn't... seems to bake unevenly. Any suggestions?

- Answer I bake on the lower temperature for dark or non stick pans, when checking for doneness I spin the pan as the side closest to the fan does seem to brown quicker but I think the trick is the lower temperature. The edge of the stove top does get warm, I haven't found it to be much of an issue.
