QuestionWhat are the dimensions of the actual cooktop glass - not the entire top of the range. I would like to purchase a silicone protector mat to keep on the cooktop when not in use. This will help determine what size mat I need. Thanks.

QuestionSo I’m wondering if the fan at the back that goes on automatically can be turned off or disabled in some way so that it does not turn on every time I turn a burner on? It’s not that loud but just another noise that I would rather not have.

- Answer I doubt it. Fans are absolutely critical to the safe operation of induction heating elements. They would certainly overheat without ventilation.

QuestionCan you use a griddle that spans two hobs?

- Answer Not sure haven't tried it , the griddle must be flat on the bottom and be long enough to set on the areas of induction to work though. There's no reason it shouldn't work if long enough and flat.

QuestionWill the burners hold a steady heat? I’m worried that there will be a long blast of full power, then nothing, then another blast, and so on—like how microwave ovens work. I want to keep a steady simmer or a steady sauté.

- Answer It will hold a steady heat while cooking. The only full blast is when you turn the burner knob to "Boost". And know that if you remove the pan from the burner for more than (about) 10 seconds, the burner automatically shuts off - need to start again (turn burner off and then back on). Also, I found that it does take some time to learn how the number (on the burner knob) translates to desired heat level. Hope this helps!

QuestionIn order to use the remote start for the oven. I see that the oven has to be in “remote mode”, then it is enabled in the app. How much time does it give you to start it from the app? Is there a way to disable this process so it’s active all the time?

- Answer Apps will respond right away and how long they take to execute commands will depend on the network that you are using and how quickly the device that you are using for the apps takes to execute the commands. The remote start cannot be set to be active all the time. You will need to use the app every time that you need to enable the 'remote start' function. ^Daphane

QuestionSo after boiling water....and turning off induction burner....I hear a fan for about 5min. Is this normal...this is not the oven fan....my guess it’s fn cooling the induction top

- Answer This would be normal operation. The cooktop fan may turn on to reduce the temperature of the product, even when the surface elements are not being used. ^ Jamal

- Answer Hi, Overall Width (in) 29 7/8", Depth With Handle 28 15/16 inches, Cabinet Width (in) 30" If the countertop depth is greater than 25" there will be a gap between the filler kit and the back wall. ^Vanessa

QuestionCan we use a (Steel/cast iron) Griddle on two "burners" at one time (Aka, Pancake Griddle)- assuming it otherwise has a flat bottom? This is very handy for making larger quantities of Pancakes OR when making homemade Tortillas from Masa OR Eng Muffins.

- Answer The range does not support the feature where two heating elements act in unison with a single control. You could, I suppose, span two and control them using their individual controls. Seems, to me, that you'd wind up with a lower temp spot in the middle.
