• A:Answer FYI, Consumer Reports states that the predecessor to the G5, the G4, had very good sound quality. When I first put mine into service, before I established the connection to my external sound system, I remember thinking that CR was correct--the sound quality IS reasonably good.

• A:Answer I am going to guess that it is very probably that your old mount will work, for a couple of reasons. 1) there was a standard developed for TV mounts, but I am pretty sure your mount would be after the standard was implemented, 2) I mounted mine on a ~10 year old mount and it worked just fine. If you are in doubt and don't feel you will know for sure until you take the old TV down, go ahead and purchase the new mount in case you need it. Then just return it if you don't need it. That's what I did for a completely hassle-free return.

• A:Answer Not sure how you mean "will this tv work with" time shift. If In understand "time shift" to be recording content for later viewing, I know of NO TV that does this on its own. Most TV providers (DirecTV, etc) and streaming services are the ones who offer these capabilities.

• A:Answer No need for a roku or firestick...tv comes with most platforms, then you download any addional ones you want. You can also make shortcuts, and decide the order they appear in. If you want to stick with your stick anyway, there are 4 HDMI posts on the back. They are located towards the left side of the tv.
