One upper vent opening with a minimum opening of 48 sq. in. (310 cm2) must be installed no lower than 6 feet above the floor. One lower vent opening with a minimum opening of 24 sq. in.     • Answer bummer that there is no light in this LG dryer. our replaced 14 yr-old Whirlpool Cabrio model had a light and the drum was painted white. my "workaround" for this LG model, as shown in the pics, is to use our handy magnetic flashlight that can be folded in different positions, and it has a hook for hanging on the closed dryer door to see the clothes while drying. using the flashlight after the load is done while retrieving clothes is the most useful and practical. what's the point of watching clothes as they tumble? what, are you afraid some of the socks will mingle with other clothes, or hide against the wall to make a quick break when the door opens :-)

The LG DLE7150M dryer suggests that the controls may be difficult to reach if the dryer is installed on the floor. the controls are located on the top/back of the dryer. If the dryer is installed on the floor, it may be difficult to access the controls.   • QuestionMy LG dryer keeps running after the cycle stops. I don’t have it set for sensor dry. I use timed dry mainly and even after I turn power off on board, dryer keeps sinning if the door is closed.

    • Answer There is a variety of reasons as to why your ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.3 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry Technology, Model # DLE7150W, is continuing to run even after the cycle has ended, that may be due to issues with the control board, door switch, or timer. The control board is responsible for managing the dryer’s functions. If it malfunctions, it may send continuous power to the motor, causing the dryer to keep running. If you suspect this is the issue, you may need to replace the control board. If the timer gets stuck, it can cause the dryer to run continuously. To troubleshoot, unplug the dryer and wait a few minutes to allow the timer to reset. If this does not resolve the issue, replacing the timer may be necessary. A faulty door switch can fail to signal the control board to stop the motor when the cycle is complete. Inspect the door switch for proper operation and replace it if necessary. Overloading can strain the motor and cause it to overheat, leading to continuous operation. Ensure you are not exceeding the manufacturer’s recommended load capacity. A clogged lint filter can restrict airflow, causing the dryer to overheat and run continuously. Clean the lint filter thoroughly after each use to prevent this issue.
