  • QuestionI bought this product looking at its ability to cool and heat the room but, tremendous draft comes from this product. There is no way you can control the opening/closing of vent amd use ac at the same time. I literally had to close and wrap entire ac.

Some sources may describe it as cold, depending on personal comfort levels and regional climate, so you will not find a unit that will go down to 50°F or lower. The lowest temperature setting for an AC is typically set at 60°F to prevent damage and ensure efficient operation, and the lubricant in an AC compressor is designed for warmer temperatures. When the temperature drops below 60°F, the lubricant thickens and may not circulate properly, leading to inefficient operation and potential mechanical failure. Setting the AC below 60°F can lead to the evaporator coil freezing, which blocks airflow and prevents the AC from cooling effectively. This can also cause the system to shut down completely...^Ivan.
