QuestionWill this work with two non-powered USB extenders? My desk is on the opposite side of the room from where my PC sits. The extenders would be 25 feet. If power extenders would work then please list that. Thanks

- Answer I am not a technical guru but I would say the more you double the extenders the less likely you’re going to get the work out of the product that you need. If you have one long cord less than 25 feet or around 25 feet that would probably be OK but to hook together two cords might reduce you’re ability To get the optimum use from your product.

- Answer I have not tried 4K DVDs in this Blu-ray DVD player. But it does not advertise that it can play 4K DVDs. So I would probably think that it will not.

QuestionI bought this to play blu ray movies on my laptop. I installed the software and updated it. it will play the audio of the movie only. i tried a DvD movie and it plays fine. what am i missing?

- Answer I paid additional money to put Power DVD onto my computer and the audio and visual are terrific. Some of the other software’s Do not seem to play the Blu-ray DVD very good or at all. That is why I purchased Power DVD. But for a decent price you might be able to get NXT creator pro and I believe power DVD comes with it but you’ll have to check the product line.

- Answer It can be used with a Chromebook but there are some major limitations to using a Chromebook with an external DVD or CD drive. External DVD drives aren’t officially supported on Chrome OS. Compatible Operating Systems include Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Mac OS X (v.10.7.5 or higher) . ^Daphane

- Answer The LG - 8x External USB 2.0 Blu-ray Disc Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Disc Rewriter, Model # BP50NB40 is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Mac OS X v.10.7.5 or higher Operating Systems. It only connects to PC/Laptops via its USB port so it you don't have a USB port, there is no way to connect it to your MacBook Air 2018. The USB Y cable enables to receive power from two USB host sockets at once, while only transceiving data with one of those sockets. As long as the host has two available USB sockets, this enables the drive that requires more power than one USB port can supply to be used without requiring a mains adapter...^IFV
