A:AnswerDoesn't look like it. Even with a USB A to USB C thunderbolt, all it does is power the device, not read it. Even with larger tablets there's an operating system and codec issue due to copyrights.

You will need to download software to play any video as the disc that comes with the drive is Windows only software. I did a trial of Video Byte - VLC had AACS Decoding issues - and it played just fine with a watermark which will go away once you buy the software.
