They support up to 120Hz, which is the maximum refresh rate for HDMI 2.1 at 4K resolution. While the Xbox Series X and Series S can output at 120Hz in supported games, they do not have the capability to display higher refresh rates. If you have a monitor that supports higher refresh rates, like the LG 32-inch UltraGear™ OLED Dual Mode 4K UHD 240Hz or FHD 480Hz 0.03ms G-Sync Compatible Gaming Monitor with USB Type-C, Model # 32GX870A-B, that supports 4K up to 240Hz or FHD up to 480Hz in Dual Mode, you can still use it with your Xbox console, but it will be limited to 120Hz. All DisplayPort cables are compatible with all versions of DisplayPort devices, but they are classified by their bandwidth certification level rather than version number. While the cables themselves are interchangeable, the performance may vary based on the version of the DisplayPort output from the connected device. Although the LG 32-Inch UltraGear™ OLED Dual Mode 4K UHD 240Hz or FHD 480Hz 0.03ms G-Sync Compatible Gaming Monitor with USB Type-C, Model # 32GX870A-B, supports DisplayPort 2.1, which allows for ultra-fast data speeds, it does not support the full capabilities of DisplayPort 2.1a or UHBR 20 bandwidth, and the DisplayPort input on the monitor supports up to HBR3 (High Bit Rate 3).
