- Answer Mine Linksys is doing the same thing. Personally I like Netgear Routers and actually have the Linksys and a Netgear in my setup. My older Netgear model Nighthawk X6 has worked flawlessly. There is a newer version of it out now but I would recommend that one over the Linksys.

- Answer You should use a docsis modem with this router. Check with your ISP as to whether it requires 3.0 or 3.1 technology.

QuestionI don't have a desktop or laptop, only mobile devices.Can this router be configured without a computer? I am on a Comcast cable Router.

- Answer Yes you can. You can either download the Linksys Smart Wifi app to setup locally over the router's wifi network. Or you can use a compatible mobile web browser to use the Linksyssmartwifi.com cloud based setup. As for Comcast service, I am not familiar with them but it should not make a difference. Note that to use the linksyssmartwifi.com process the router needs to get an IP address from your (Comcast}. I assume you are looking to replace the Comcast router with this so that should not be a problem.

- Answer Unfortunately it does not. The WRT3200ACM version does if that's what you are looking for.

- Answer Richie, Our law firm uses this router, which carries a very strong wireless signal. We have our modem WIRED into the Linksys router and then all our devices connect to the router wirelessly, some as far as one building over.
