I attached a wide loop of elastic to my Rugged book case with a piece of adhesive foam (salvaged from a promo card pocket for a smart phone). Cut the foam to about 2”x3” to secure the elastic. Make sure elastic is staggered, so adhesive is in contact with both top & bottom layers of the loop. Make sure the elastic is snug around the pen. Then pull the pen out & let the adhesive “set” before you start using this pen holster.
As it loosens up over time, repeat the process with fresh elastic & adhesive foam. This isn’t sticky, like it would be if I tried to use tape.
