A:AnswerNot at this time directly like Amazon. Who knows what google is going to do in future. Before Amazon had direct support for I I had it controlled through SmartThings and then linked it back. It could control it through there
A:AnswerYes it can. I've got a Hue Bridge and a half dozen Hue Bulbs that this controls. I've got Harmony Activities setup like dimming the lights, turning on the TV and the Xbox One when I want to watch a movie. Add an Amazon Echo device and you can have Alexa trigger the Harmony Activities (much preferred to the remote).
A:AnswerIt does have several buttons on the remote that can learn from other remotes. If you set the hub up on your smart phone, it has a section in the software that you can program certain buttons. Hope that helps.
A:Answerit does blast ir signal but it wont reach far only at the location of the hub. it also depends on your house and how ir is allowed to bounce, windows mirros etc wont allow it to bounce. it comes with wire extender ir blaster but it's not long probably 8ft. your gonna need some sort of a ir extender or unless you can run a long 3.5mm wire extender then u can use the ir blaster that it comes with.
A:AnswerYou can use your laptop to program it, which is what I did. You have to download the harmony app and connect the hub to your laptop via USB and you will be able to program all your devices using the laptop. I don't think you can use your laptop as a remote, however.
A:AnswerThe remote is Bluetooth, but the hub is wifi. So you would be able wwith your smartphone even if out of range. You can actually control see status over internet if you link the hub to a account
A:AnswerYes. My receiver, cable box, Blu-ray and xbox 360 are inside cabinet doors and all are controlled by the remote. That is the purpose of the hub that is also inside the cabinet. The IR blaster is the only piece located outside the cabinet in front of the TV so the hub can communicate with the TV.
A:AnswerYup - it will simply become an IR remote for your Amazon smart TV. It does not have an accelerometer though - so if you have one of those intelligent remotes that detect motion, that will not work.
A:AnswerI don't see why not - in fact if you programmed your 650 using the harmony app, you should be able to copy all your programming to the hub as well. The hub is a little better since it has built-in bluetooth so it can control Bluetooth devices like the Amazon Fire TV.
A:AnswerI am not familiar with comcast dvr but Logitec has vast library of entertainment components and should be easy to find your component in the library. You can verify it on logitec harmony website. In worse case scenario, you can use your component remote to teach hub
