- Answer This one does not come with a hub. A more expensive bundle includes this remote with the hub or you can purchase the hub separately. This remote does work the devices behind my wood and glass panel doors 15' away.

- Answer Yes, it does control everything...your cable box, DVR recordings, FF, REW, Pause, I truly don't have to use the other 5 remotes....Cable, Blu Disc, Stereo, TV, and X-box. Very easy to program because the tutorial will take you through each component.

- Answer If you do not have the hub and your equipment is behind a close door or you do not have line of sight to your equipment, then this remote will not work with out the hub.

- Answer Without knowing the speicific model of the device you are asking about I cannot answer your question. However, this remote should work with any device that is controlled by another IR (Infrared) Remote. It has the ability to learn another remote's commands. If the "new 4K xfinity converter" is controlled by an IR Remote then it should be able to work.
