A:AnswerThe green light doesn't stay on, it does that to conserve battery power. When you've downloaded the software, you can program one of the buttons to show the battery level. Also, anytime it's been sitting long enough to go to sleep it will show the battery level when you wake it up. Of course like you said when you turn it off and turn it back on the light turns on to show you the battery level and then turns itself back off. The battery indicator ALSO works when you unplug it from the cord while it's on. I hope I'm clear enough to be understood in my answer :) Have fun!
A:AnswerThe part you're referring to is called a "receiver" or "nano-receiver". You can purchase it separately, just Google "Logitech Unifying USB Receiver" and make sure what you pick is specified for your mouse model.
A:AnswerThe device is normally paired to the unified receiver so no need to worry about cross talk. I use multiple Logitech devices in the same office with unified receivers and none on them pick up what the other is doing (they are 4ft apart). Just as an FYI, there is a unified tool/software from Logitech (http://support.logitech.com/software/unifying) that helps you sync or pair your device with another receiver. It will also show the paired devices if you really want to see what device you USB receiver is set to use.
A:AnswerHi LucysMom, There are several different options you can purchase that would be a USB C to USB A adaptor. Here is one that is small with no cable: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/platinum-usb-a-to-usb-c-adapter-usb-3-0-spec-gray/6363182.p?skuId=6363182 You can easily search for USB C to USB A adapter on the retailers website and navigate to one that is in stock in your local store.
A:AnswerEither one works fine. This device is not dependent on fast speeds, USB 3.0 ports are backwards compatible so you can use 2.0 devices in the 3.0 port only using 2.0 speeds due to the device not being 3.0
Only benefit of a 3.0 is for an external hard drive as it will help with faster read/write speeds but mice and keyboards are not going to see a difference in speed.
A:AnswerDon't be insulted, but make sure the mouse is turned on. The on/off switch can extend the life of the battery. Also, use the usb adapter that came with the mouse. There shouldn't be any drivers to d/l. Win 7 should initialize it immediately.
A:AnswerIf your chromebook has a USB type A connection, then yes. Majority of laptops come with one. It shouldn't matter what brand of laptop/monitor you are using as long it has the USB connection.
A:AnswerThe Logitech M325 comes with Logitech's Unifying Receiver (or dongle as you refer it). It can connect up to 6 compatible devices. The M325c comes with a receiver (dongle) that controls that one device. The mouse that comes in the M325c package is compatible with other Logitech Unifying receivers, however.
A:AnswerI have a HP AIO computer an try to connect another mouse to the computer, it connects to the computer but will not talk to the keyboard. I’ve tried several different videos to try to connect, but have not found any yet. Maybe I’m missing something, but have not found a resolution yet. Maybe you can tell me.
