- Answer Yes, you can absolutely use these two items in any PC configuration. The keyboard is very nice, sturdy and the keys feel great with a strong feel to them. The angle that the keyboard rests at when the "feet" located on the bottom of the unit are extended is perfect for me to type at. I would rate the keyboard at a 4.9 easily. As for the mouse it does work very well and is well built but is a bit light for my taste, It still would receive a rating of 4.6 as it would be unfair for me to lower it's rating beyond that. I say, BUY IT and you will have no regrets!

QuestionIs it one usb for both the keyboard AND mouse? Or does it have one for each? Basically I want to only have to use one usb port for both to work on my computer so it doesn't take up usb slots on my computer.

- Answer I know what you are talking about...it is much quieter than other keyboards I have used. You might need to lighten your touch or I recommend muting your system (if you can) while your are typing. But it is quiet if you type slowly and do so with a light touch. My Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse are quieter than most. That is one thing I check out when I purchase keyboards.

- Answer If you have an open USB port, it will. It uses USB for wireless connectivity. I use this with my Macbook Pro and it works great. You just have to know that the Windows key on it is the Command key on an Apple keyboard, and there are a couple of other key mappings you need to learn. You'll get used to it.
