- Answer It takes a button battery that’s supposed to last a couple of years. The keyboard is only using battery when magnetically attached to the iPad.

QuestionI purchased this item a few days ago and still can not get it to pair up with my iPad 9. I click on slim folio in settings and receive a code to type into my folio keyboard. Nothing happens..can anyone give me suggestions? If not..I’ll have to return it.
