- Answer No! Look at the picture on the site. Under the doors you can see a grayish-blue color below the doors. That is what the sides look like as well. Definitely some kind of plastic.

QuestionDid a search for counter depth refrigerators, with no ice maker,, side by side. This refrigerator came up. But the specs say it is 30 5/8" deep, not less than 26" deep, which is counter depth. Does it come in CD?

- Answer All Whirlpool/Maytag side by side fridges currently marketed are made in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico. There is no manufacturer currently making side by side fridges in the US. Whirlpool is making French Door fridges in Amana, Iowa for the time being, but this will not likely continue long term. GE makes top freezer and French Door in Louisville, Kentucky. Electrolux makes a certain number of Frigidaire French Door models in South Carolina. In the mass market, that's about it. If you're in the "pro" territory with five figure price tags, there are more US options.

Also here is the link to the Owner's Manual, where you will find the "Installation Instructions" https://bit.ly/3N0bHSS You will find instructions on how to remove and install the handles, etc We hope this helps!

QuestionWhat is the MSRP and Installation Price for the optional ice maker?

- Answer I have no clue about the cost for installing the ice maker. But don’t worry about having to Install the ice maker. This model only works for a week or so. You will never get to use the ice maker. But you should by a Yeti cooler or two. Maytag can not figure out the problem with this model and the technician told me that it is lemon. Best of luck if you buy any Maytag product.
