A:Answer Yes, this would have a delay depending on the receiving end (the headphones). This device supports 3 Bluetooth codecs - aptX, aptX Low Latency, and SBC (which is regular Bluetooth audio). Both the transmitter and the headphones must support a codec for it to be used. If your headphones support aptX Low Latency, which is optimal, the delay will be approximately 30-40ms. If they do not support aptX Low Latency but support regular aptX, your delay will be 130-170ms. And if they don't support aptX at all, it would be 170-270ms, which is a significant delay. We are also working on an ultra low latency version of this device specifically for in-ear monitoring, which will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
