- Answer Fairly well balanced. The hinge is tight enough to allow you to keep it at a comfortable angle to stay on your lap without falling forward.

- Answer If your camera use normal sd card you just have to insert your sd card on the left side slot of the surface. You will see your card like a drive D:,E: or else depends if you have more drives connected. And voila! Move your photos.

- Answer Yes. I'm a grad student and I carry it to classes/lab/seminars everyday. It's light and easy to carry and it is just a super cool laptop to have in general.

- Answer I had the surface pro 4 and had to buy a new charger for it and I loved how long the cord was (6ft). When I got the surface book 2, I was at school and forgot the charger it came with at home but had my old surface pro 4 cord and it worked perfectly for me.

- Answer If your device uses a compatible connection, it may work. The Surface Book 2 has 2 x USB type-A (version 3.1 Gen 1), 1 x USB type-C (version 3.1 Gen 1 with USB Power Delivery revision 3.0), a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 x Surface Connect ports and a Full-size SDXC card reader. You will need to test your specific device to be sure.

- Answer I'm not a CAD use but I am a Graphic Designer. I think you can run the software but it's like driving a Chevy on a rocky road than driving a Jeep. Both can do it but you feel the difference.
