- Answer I am a retired Microsoft employee (1988 - 1999), and I just purchased this machine to replace my computer. I could not be happier ... matter of fact with this I7 processor, I am able to do graphical design and other things much faster. Being able to turn into a tablet, with just a snap off the keyboard) .... by the way magnetic ... I can have the benefits of both. I waited all these years to let the company perfect the product (as I learned long ago to NEVER buy Version 1.0 of anything). I do not think you will go wrong with this device for your needs. I hope this review helps in making your decision.

- Answer The surface Pro is no different than any other laptop or Desktop? What do you mean connect to any wireless computer? Did you mean will it connect to any wireless network? if that is the correct question than answer is yes! You should be able to connect to any wireless network & any printer connected to any wireless Network.

- Answer You must buy the keyboard separately and it also serves as a cover. There is an online screen keyboard you can use when the cover isn't connected and you are in tablet mode. It is definitely worth having the cover/keyboard.

- Answer Yes - when travelling, I leave my laptop at home. This surface runs Excel, Word, OneNote and even a high end statistical package like SPSS without batting an eye. I use it both at work and at school. The screen is so sharp that I can multi - task on a plane with a spreadsheet on one side of the screen and a word document on the other side. Also, if you buy the J5 Create mini-docking station, you can set up 2 full screen monitors plus the surface for a 3 screen experience.

- Answer No, those items are separate. You may get lucky and they’ll be running a deal with everything as a package. I’ve heard about that but it wasn’t the case when I bought mine earlier this year.

- Answer Yes, but you’re going to have issues with the CS3’s interface. I have CS3, 5 and 6 and all of them end up having issues because of the high resolution of the Surface’s screen. Those programs were built for lower resolution screens and not tablet PCs so all the menus are extremely small. If you’re like me and use a lot of keyboard shortcuts then generally it’s not that much of an issue but as soon as you start using the drop down menus it becomes an issue. There is a third party program that you can use to scale up the menus but it also gives you less visible canvas on the screen. Search Surface Pro 2017 Photoshop and there’s an Asian gentleman with a YouTube channel who has a video on this specific issue and that third party application. It sucks to pay monthly for PS CC but the tablet functions it has are awesome. If you can afford it, do it. If not the third party application might be your best bet.

- Answer Yes, I use the facial recognition every day. It works most of the time. Sometimes lighting makes a difference.
