It uses a USB Type-C 2.0 cable. More likely than a cable problem is charger problem. At a store, you might be able to find out if your current charger is working, or if a new one will work with your phone. The one supplied with the phone is model SC-41 (or possibly SC-4I (letter i, but upper case) - it's very hard to read. That is a 2A charger.
