“If I am just replacing a current Moto phone/ATT with a new Moto phone I move the SIM card to new phone and it is activated there in the store? Just saw the activate now / activate later option on the web page with different pricing.”

• I just replaced a Moto E phone at the store with a new unlocked Moto G Power. I am on an ATT pay-as-you-go plan. Had to buy a new SIM card ($10) as the old one did not fit the new phone. The clerk replaced the SIM and activated the phone for me on the same plan, same phone number. HOWEVER as it was explained to me, one may not get the "activate now" price UNLESS one is starting a new ATT plan with a new phone number, Still, I thought it was a good price for the quality of the phone.
