• The fans themselves are silent when running at low speeds, but when it was doing the firmware updates, and the fans kicked to max... It sounds like a mini-turbine engine, and are fairly loud

• For me when I have my headphones on it isn't very noticeable

• Can get up with 56 db if you manually max cooler boost. But the fan curve can be silent. You have full control in the MSI Center Good review here. https://youtu.be/gDhVyft04AQ?t=620
