• A:Answer I reimaged my laptop with Pro and Optimus is no longer an issue. The display magnification does need reduced - it's defaulted to 150%. If you reduce the magnification, the screen becomes useable.

• A:Answer There's no way a $1k gaming laptop has a 150-nit display. I'm guessing it's at least 350 nits from what I saw in person. For some reason, it's very hard to find the nit number on this particular laptop. Not sure where the other person pulled that number from.
