A:Answerit would work if you had access to the host system. Such as you had parked next to your house. Would not work with just grabbing a random signal and jumping on. Security settings are set through the host network.
A:AnswerIf your TV is having issues because it is too far from the main router, placing this between the main router and the TV will help... as long as you put it within 100 ft of the main router and the tv is not more than 100 ft away. Again the tech specs say it goes further if there are no walls between and no interference, but my experience is dont count on it going more than 100 ft without it losing speed.
