QuestionI currently have a Belkin router which is no longer working. I have a modem from Verizon and am on DSL. Will this router just plug into my current modem and work without doing anything else. I have no Computer and am using an iPad. Thank you.

- Answer You'll have to complete a short set-up process after connecting the device to your modem, but after that you should be good to go.

- Answer No, you shouldn't have to pay extra for service. It'll need to be connected to a modem using Ethernet.

- Answer While this device can't replace an AT&T modem, it can replace an AT&T router. In most cases you probably have a modem/router combo, so you could either look for one of those, or separately buy a router (could be this one, could be another) and a modem.

- Answer No, there's no menu options to set operational times. Routers are designed to be in place 24/7. There's no value at all in shutting them off. The amount of electricity used is minimal, but it keeps your network safe at all times.

QuestionWill this router work with most/all IoT devices? We just got our old wireless router from Spectrum replaced with a new one with "advanced Wifi". It turns out part of what that means is "band steering" and that meant it will not let Iot devices connect.

- Answer Yes, you are able to split the 2.4GHz and 5Ghz networks, this should allow for IoT devices to connect. I have this router and personally haven't had issues with my devices connecting.

- Answer Preferably install the app. It’s just going to install the latest update, confirming some few things about the product, and installing the 1 month protection. It’ll take roughly 10 mins of your time. You can do it on LAN but having it set up on app makes it simplified and easier for you
